From the Bamana Tribe of Mali.
The figure is carved from ironwood and is substantial in weight,
especially considering its size of 80" tall, 14" deep and 14" wide.
She has a long strand of hair (depicted in the carving) on each side of her head
reaching down to her shoulder and then another down her back.
